Physics is not my strong suit...

but it is Amy's. We weighed on Sunday at the beach. Each of us are down 4 pounds now. Woo hoo. And I always wonder where this weight goes, like shouldn't it mess with the universe and the rotation of the earth? So once again, I asked Amy to explain this to me. Have it on camera, well, audio, to refer back to. We both recognize the need for more exercise; this last week it was not in the mix at all. Started the week on a good note, a brisk lovely walk at the beach in Westport. Sun shining, only sweatshirts needed. Wish I was still at the beach! Happy Monday, here's the science lesson:

  1. OK, I watched the video (loved the end)♥ and I must say I have NEVER thought about where the weight goes. I'm always wondering why I can't loose more than a pound a week. Because there seems to no problem putting on 5LBS in one week. Amy can you help me understand that?

  2. Hey Girls!! This is Angie again...finally. I commented on your blog way back on January 16 or 18th. My sister and I are now training for a triathlon in September, although she lives in Bend, OR and me in Port Orchard, WA. I LOVE your blog. You and a friend of mine inspired me to create my own Tri Training/ Weight Loss Blog. I most likely won't be as open about all my #'s as the two of you but eventually I will probably post some ;-( scary...

I have found by having this triathlon goal I look at exercise very different. It is no longer a means to a weight loss end but a means to a fitness end so to speak. I want to improve my fitness level in order to finish the tri not just to lower the # on the "beloved" scale. The weight loss is a secondary benefit (however an amazing awesome one!!).

I would love for you to follow my blog as I will be following yours!! Keep up the good work and maybe find a 5K or something to make as a goal for you two!! You can always come do the Tri Turtle Tri with my sister and I in September over here in Seabeck!!

  3. Okay...I wrote this huge blog comment earlier today but for some reason it is not showing up...this is Angie...I commented on your blog on 1/18 shortly after I had joined Weight Watchers. I created a blog of my own and would love it if you would check it out!!

Keep up the good work and really try to get that exercise in. I heard that if you don't feel like exercising just commit to doing it for 5 min....most of the time you will keep going and finish more of the work-out of all of it!! Give it a try!
